Leo's Braci d'Autore in Metropolitan City of Bari

"We were passing by Polignano and were looking for a place to have a lunch. Luckily we have found Leo's where we could also park without any problems. Lunch was exceptional, everything was made of the freshest local produce. Meat was melting in the mouth, mozzarella di bufala was delicious especially with olive oil that was already on the table. On the wall you can see Leo's certificate of the sommelier, I wish we could try some wine but we had to drive further to the south. If I were asked if I would come back here or recommend to a friend, I definitely would."

"If you like meat look no further. Steak was a fantastic experience. It arrives crispy on the outside and pink inside, served on a hot cast iron board, so you can cook it just a little bit more if you prefer. It was also nice to discover decomposed cannoli which turned out to be a Sicilian dessert."

"A fantastic experience, highlighting high-quality ingredients and strong execution. • Carpaccio (Starter): A delicious, if somewhat expensive, dish. The thinly sliced meat was of excellent quality. • T-Bone Steak / Ribeye (Secondi): Superb. My father and I split this massive piece, which was cooked to perfection and incredibly flavorful. We'd happily devour such a cut every day. The side portions were good, but a more generous selection of vegetables would have been appreciated alongside the potatoes. • Pasta all'Assassina (Primi): Excellent. This unique, burnt pasta dish with its flavorful sauce and creamy topping was a delight and definitely worth ordering again. • Special Pasta (Primi): My sister's pasta (Paccheri with the sauce and pesto) was good and competently prepared, although it was overshadowed by the brilliance of the other main courses. Conclusion: Go for the high-quality steak and stay for the excellent, creative primi. This establishment delivers for me amemorable, high-end meal."
